Ce serait d'ailleurs bien dommage, car la 8 nous a procuré beaucoup de plaisir sur les 3200 kilomètres parcourus jusqu'à présent. Contrairement aux faits, la 800 est même probablement le meilleur choix pour le pilote moyennement ambitieux.

Honda appelle sa gamme de modèles "Neo Sports Cafe" et, avec la CB 1000 R, fait honneur à cette appellation toute fraîche. Le style et l'allure sont nouveaux, différents et très réussis, non seulement visuellement mais aussi au toucher. Le "sport" n'est pas en reste sur ce nouveau modèle.
