Le nouveau concept de la Niken GT permet une progression incroyablement rapide et sûre dans toutes les conditions météorologiques, comme sur des rails, sur les routes de cols étroites comme sur les virages plus rapides. Le moteur Crossplane trois cylindres, déjà très apprécié sur la MT-09, a été parfaitement adapté à la Niken GT avec une masse d'inertie légèrement plus importante et une démultiplication finale plus courte.
