La Hayabusa est une légende absolue, la première moto de série à avoir dépassé les 300 km/h ne peut pas être reléguée au rang de détail. Avec la nouvelle Busa, Suzuki a toutefois reconnu les signes du temps, le modèle actuel est une excellente hyper-touriste avec son équipement électronique complet, régulateur de vitesse en série compris. L'ergonomie est toujours orientée vers le sport, mais on est bien intégré dans la machine et on bénéficie ainsi d'une bonne protection contre le vent. Les freins sont stables, la maniabilité est correcte et le châssis délicieusement stable et sophistiqué. La cerise sur le gâteau est bien sûr l'énorme moteur quatre cylindres en ligne de 1340 centimètres cubes, qui impressionne déjà par ses 190 chevaux. Mais ce qui est encore mieux, c'est le couple maximal de 150 newtons-mètres, disponible dès le ralenti. Ce moteur est donc difficilement égalable en termes de souveraineté !
