Les critiques sont prises au sérieux chez Suzuki, le pare-brise a été agrandi et, conformément à la tendance, une version XT un peu plus tout-terrain de la V-Strom 1000 est désormais disponible, avec des roues à rayons métalliques qui augmentent non seulement la stabilité mais aussi l'aspect cool - surtout avec les jantes dorées de la peinture jaune. Outre tous ces avantages, le prix avantageux reste toujours le killer argument absolu pour la Suzuki V-Strom 1000 / XT.
