Despite its small displacement compared to other touring enduros, the CB500X is by no means kid's stuff. Adult appearance, an accessible and fun engine and really great touring capabilities make it an affordable touring motorbike for young and old. The Honda cuts a fine figure both on the road and in light off-road terrain. So if you can do without exuberant engine power, technical aids, gadgets and comfort gadgets, you will find the Honda an absolutely suitable companion for great adventures. Whether it's to Norway, Spain or to the home stretch - the Honda CB500X is recommended.

Like the Kawasaki Versys, the small V-Strom is getting on a bit. The 1000 is so well done and easy to ride that you should consider taking the "big one" right away. In terms of versatility, however, the 650 is in no way inferior to the big V-Strom, and at a much lower price. But we wouldn't take it to the racetrack any more. And of course it has to cope with a heavy load more than a motorbike with 100+ hp.
