Pros and Cons in comparison

Pros and Cons in comparison

Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2021

Triumph Street Triple 765 RS 2021

As before, the RS top model is indeed the most desirable of the Street Triples. In addition to the usual playful handling, the super-direct Brembo brakes and the lively character of the three-cylinder engine, there is now a more bulbous mid-range, upgraded electronics as well as a Brembo M50 brake and the once again sharpened appearance. Thanks to the very sporty Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 tyres, trackdays are indeed a serious issue, and the now standard shift assistant with blipper function greatly increases the incentive to switch to the new model. A wonderful fun machine for both country road and track!

Fantastically lively engine

high quality standard

quickshifter with blipper as standard

roaring sound

excellent Brembo M50 brake system

ABS and traction control as standard

sporty look

low weight.

somewhat complicated menu navigation

connectivity system bugged

adjustment screws on the fork poorly accessible

BMW S 1000 R 2014

BMW S 1000 R 2014

Brutal power, smooth, almost perfect, electronics, it only gets better with the HP4. Now BMW dominates the 1000cc naked bike class after the superbikes.

Sporty chassis

extreme power and performance

very good electronic helpers

terrific price/performance ratio

fast and comfortable on the racetrack and on country roads.

Slightly rough engine running

DDC works well, but still rather on the "hard" side overall

seat relatively high

tempts to overdrive

design a matter of taste.
