On the other hand, the Thruxton 1200 2016 is praised for its powerful and finely tuned engine, authentic look, and genuine classic bike feel.

However, the Thruxton RS 2020 has some weaknesses, including being only available as the top RS version and having inadequate splash protection in bad weather. The Thruxton 1200 2016, on the other hand, has a chassis that is clearly below that of the "R" version, moderate comfort, and good sound.

Overall, the Triumph Thruxton RS 2020 offers more advanced features, better performance, and improved handling compared to the Triumph Thruxton 1200 2016. However, the Thruxton 1200 2016 has its own charm with its authentic classic bike feel and powerful engine.
