Harley-Davidson's first foray into the adventure segment is better off-road than many would have expected from a complete new design by an American manufacturer best known for building hefty cruisers. With the modern Revolution Max engine and over 150 horsepower, it is nevertheless a truly sporty alternative on paved roads for the typical leaders in the large adventure segment. With the new Pan America 1250 ST, the Americans are now fully focusing on the road, transforming the powerful adventure bike into a tourer with 120/70-17 tires at the front and 180/55-17 tires at the rear.
Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST 2025
The mighty PanAm for sport on the road!
Harley-Davidson ventured into completely new territory with the large adventure bike Pan America 1250 - now the distinctive, somewhat quirky-looking American at the front has established itself and already won over many adventure fans. Apparently, it's time for Harley to attract the road-oriented fans again with the brand new Pan America 1250 ST featuring its 17-inch tires!

The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST - Optimal for Sport on the Road!
To ensure everything aligns perfectly, the new ST version adopts the seating position as well as the high-quality suspension and brake components from the elegant Pan America 1250 Special, while foregoing typical off-road-oriented features—since they aren't needed on-road. Sounds pretty smart, as the Michelin Scorcher Sport in 17 inches, the lowered, newly tuned suspension, the lower seat, the lighter exhaust, and the standard quickshifter should play their trump cards in a sporty manner. The fact that the seat height of the new Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 ST has been lowered to 835 millimeters will certainly please shorter riders, but why the brilliant Adaptive Ride Height (which lowers when stationary) is not available in Europe, yet is in America and Canada, remains a mystery to me. Perhaps the Americans believe that we Europeans are already great, while America, as is well-known, needs to be made great again!
