New: the PowerPlus 112 engine and the new Chief model range

Indian Motorcycle, America's first motorcycle brand, unveils a comprehensive expansion of its portfolio for the 2025 model year. The focus is on the new PowerPlus models Chieftain and Roadmaster, as well as the updated Indian Chief series featuring the Sport Chief RT and Super Chief Dark Horse models. Both series offer a blend of performance and modern design intended to meet the demands of discerning riders.

PowerPlus 112: Advanced V-Twin Engine

The Chieftain PowerPlus and Roadmaster PowerPlus models are equipped with the new PowerPlus 112 engine. The liquid-cooled V-twin engine boasts 1834 cc displacement, delivers 126 hp, and offers a torque of 181.4 Nm. It is designed to provide consistent power across the entire rev range, utilizing overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder.

According to the manufacturer, the optimized chassis of these models ensures precise handling and high stability. KYB inverted forks and radially mounted Brembo® brakes contribute to improved riding dynamics. The safety features include SmartLean technology with cornering ABS and traction control, Bike Hold Control for inclines, and Blind Spot Warning to monitor the blind spot.

The design is characterized by clean lines, LED headlights, and aerodynamic fairings. For longer tours, the models offer ClimaCommand seats with heating and cooling functions, as well as storage spaces with a capacity of up to 140 liters.

Chief Series: Sport Chief RT and Super Chief Dark Horse

The Chief series is complemented by the Sport Chief RT and Super Chief Dark Horse models. The Sport Chief RT utilizes the Thunderstroke 116 V-Twin engine with 1890 cc displacement and 156 Nm of torque. Features include lockable saddlebags with 37 liters of storage and a 2-Up High Bolster Seat for added comfort. A 101-mm touchscreen offers functions such as navigation and audio control. Three riding modes (Sport, Standard, Tour) allow for customization of riding performance.

The Super Chief Dark Horse features a black design with a gloss finish. It shares the technical specifications of the Sport Chief RT, including the Thunderstroke engine, RIDE COMMAND system, and Keyless-Go. These features are intended to make the models suitable for both city rides and longer journeys.

Both model series offer extensive accessories. These include PowerBand Audio Bluetooth® speakers, adaptive LED headlights, and enhanced wind protection solutions. Additional options such as quick-release luggage racks, heated grips, and extra storage spaces increase the comfort and versatility of the motorcycles.
