Highlights of the CUSTOMBIKE Show 2024
- European Custombike Championship: The prestigious competition was won this year by Vic Jefford from England with his self-built Harley "Platinum." Technical highlights such as an integrated battery in the hub drum impressed both the jury and the audience alike.
- German Räng-Däng-Däng Build-Off: For the first time, a moped duel was held. Team V.E.B.-Design narrowly won with their "Interflug-Schwalbe" against the Töffliheizer Ostfriesland.
- European Biker Build-Off: Two teams showcased their skills within three days. USM Motorcycles from Germany won with a gold-red racer based on an Indian Sport Scout against the Polish team Vhard Motorworks.
Charity projects and emotions
The trade fair was not only a celebration for technology enthusiasts but also demonstrated social commitment:
A "patchwork bike" based on a Honda Shadow was raffled off to raise donations for children with cancer. The proceeds from the sale of the pink Honda Bosozoku build were also donated. In total, over 10,000 euros were handed over to the Hamburg Sternenbrücke.

Alongside the competitions, a diverse supporting program and impressive shows generated excitement:

- Historical Highlights: Special exhibition "60 Years of Simson Schwalbe" featuring the 92-year-old designer Erhard Werner.
