The heart of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, which is also used in the Panigale V4. This engine is a 90° V4 with desmodromic valve timing and a counter-rotating crankshaft, making it particularly powerful and distinctive. With 214 hp at 13,500 rpm (+6 hp compared to its predecessor) and a maximum torque of 120 Nm at 11,250 rpm, the engine delivers brutal power and high revving capability, which is especially advantageous on the race track.

Another technical highlight of the engine is the variable intake funnels, which optimize power and torque across a wide RPM range. For additional power, the optional racing exhaust system from Ducati Performance by Akrapovič increases the maximum power to 226 hp.

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 retains the characteristic design of the Streetfighter series, but offers some adjustments aimed at improving aerodynamics and optimizing riding performance at high speeds. The biplane winglets, which have been installed since the first version, have been further developed and now provide an improved downforce of +17 kg at 270 km/h. The 16-liter fuel tank is reflected in the larger presence of the rear, which is longer towards the back, with a shorter license plate holder and a lower pillion seat compared to the Streetfighter V4 from the 2024 model year.

The chassis and suspension of the Streetfighter V4 are based on the Panigale V4, but with adjustments that enhance street handling. The new front frame is 3.47 kg lighter than the previous model and features reduced lateral stiffness, which is intended to provide more confidence in lean angles and enable higher cornering speeds. The hollow symmetrical swingarm, in combination with the lightweight chassis, is designed to improve traction, particularly benefiting acceleration in corners.

The Streetfighter V4 S is equipped with an electronically controlled Öhlins NIX/TTX suspension, offering improved feedback and a wider range of adjustment. This suspension ensures that the bike remains comfortable both on the race track and in everyday use. Riding comfort is further enhanced by the "Cruise Detection" strategy. The system softens the suspension when a constant speed is detected, such as during highway rides.

Just like the new Ducati Panigale V4, the Streetfighter V4 is equipped with Brembo Hypure calipers. These calipers are lighter (60 grams per pair compared to the Stylema of the previous model) and more powerful, effectively dissipating the heat generated during braking.

Ducati equips the Streetfighter V4 with a multitude of electronic control systems. The key systems include Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0, and Ducati Vehicle Observer. The latter is an algorithm developed by Ducati Corse, which accesses over 70 sensors to optimize the bike's performance in real-time and provide the rider with more precise control.

Another highlight is the Race eCBS braking system, developed in collaboration with Bosch. It enhances braking performance by being able to activate the rear brake in certain riding situations, thereby improving stability and handling during the braking phase. The electronic package is complemented by a new 6.9-inch TFT display, which shows important information depending on the riding mode (Road or Track).

The ergonomics of the Streetfighter V4 have been designed to enhance comfort on the road without compromising its sporty riding characteristics. The seating position, in particular, has been optimized for taller riders. The tank has been shaped to offer more freedom of movement, and a recess in the upper area facilitates aerodynamic riding. Compared to the previous model, the handlebar's bend has been brought 10 mm closer to the rider.

The pegs have been repositioned further forward and inward, enhancing the riding position's comfort without compromising ground clearance. Fans in the side fairings direct hot air away from the rider, improving thermal comfort on longer rides.

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 is offered in two variants: the standard version and the V4 S. Both models share many features such as the engine, chassis, and electronics. However, the V4 S version offers additional premium components like Öhlins suspension, forged wheels, and a lithium-ion battery, further reducing the weight. The prices in Germany are as follows:
