That the new Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory will be the only Tuono model with the potent 660 engine from 2025 onwards is something we view with mixed emotions. It's sad, of course, that the departure of the regular Tuono 660 means the more affordable entry point is missing (though the Tuono 660 was never really cheap). However, it's all the more pleasing that the new Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory comes well-equipped!

With the aim of being even more precise and fun for street use, the new Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory has been significantly upgraded, especially in the chassis department - Öhlins front and rear! The fork is part of the 43 mm NIX 30 series, while the STX 46 shock absorber features an integrated reservoir. Both units can be adjusted for rebound and compression damping as well as preload.

The small Factory Tuono for those who want only the best

Aprilia's Factory versions are traditionally considered the flagship models of their respective segments and are specifically designed for demanding riders who appreciate the quality of particularly high-end features. Therefore, it is not illogical that Aprilia has decided to leave the new Factory version as the sole model in this series. The new Tuono 660 Factory is intended to be a true emotion generator for everyone and fits perfectly into the Aprilia 660 project, which aims to offer motorcycles with an outstanding weight-to-power ratio.

100 horsepower is good, but the 105 horsepower of the new Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory is even better!

The weight of 181 kg is now combined with the new maximum power of 105 hp (the predecessor had 100 hp), delivered by the transversely mounted 660 cc twin-cylinder inline engine with dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder. This was achieved, among other things, by using the new and larger 52 mm throttle bodies, replacing the previous 48 mm throttle bodies. Incidentally, despite the increased power, there will also be a restricted 48 hp version available.

The Tuono 660 Factory comes standard with the complete electronic APRC control suite, including electronic ride-by-wire throttle and a 6-axis IMU. This means the Tuono 660 Factory APRC now features ALC (Aprilia Launch Control), ATC (Aprilia Traction Control), AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control), ACC (Aprilia Cruise Control), AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift), AEB (Aprilia Engine Brake), and AEM (Aprilia Engine Map). As before, the Tuono 660 Factory is equipped with cornering ABS and only has a larger 5-inch color display.

Proven Design in the New Tuono 660 Factory

When it comes to aesthetics, Aprilia doesn't take any risks. The new Tuono 660 Factory is refreshed with new decals, but the shape of the fairing remains unchanged. However, the chin spoiler beneath and in front of the engine has been cut, presumably to better distinguish the now even sportier Tuono 660 Factory from its fully-faired sister, the RS660.
