New SENA 60S with Unlimited Range

The SENA 60S Intercom, thanks to Wave Intercom technology, offers a connection via VoIP (Voice over IP) for the first time, allowing motorcyclists to communicate with unlimited range and an unlimited number of users. As long as mobile reception is available, the group remains constantly connected—without the range limitations of Bluetooth or Mesh technologies.

The system seamlessly switches between Mesh and VoIP, depending on availability, ensuring uninterrupted communication. This seamless integration offers an ideal solution, especially for long-distance rides or groups with a large spatial distribution.

The new SENA Wave App offers even more possibilities for riders. Thanks to integrated geolocation, the app displays the positions of group members on a map in real-time. Additionally, it allows connection to other riders within a 2-kilometer radius. Besides voice communication, the app also provides a chat function for exchanging texts and images, as well as the ability to add friends via QR code and send an SOS emergency call if needed.

If no mobile connection is available, the SENA 60S automatically switches to Mesh Intercom™ 3.0 technology to maintain communication with other SENA 60S devices. A connection is also possible for intercoms with Mesh 2.0 technology, such as the SENA 50 series, Spider, or 30K.

Thanks to the new Mesh 3.0 algorithm, the SENA 60S offers significantly improved audio quality and connection stability. In public networks, users can choose between nine channels, while in private mode, up to 24 participants can communicate over a distance of 2 kilometers. This range can be extended up to 8 kilometers if at least six riders are spaced 1.6 kilometers apart. The battery life is 16 hours.

Another highlight of the SENA 60S is its collaboration with Harman Kardon. According to SENA, the second generation of Harman Kardon speakers delivers high-quality sound. The 40-mm speakers offer up to 130% increased volume compared to the previous model, ensuring clear communication and a premium music experience.

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) plays a central role in the SENA 60S. The new Artificial Intelligence Noise Reduction (AINR) technology filters out ambient noise, ensuring crystal-clear communication even in noisy environments. The AI also enhances the device's voice control, enabling precise recognition of voice commands even under challenging conditions.

The SENA 60S offers many other well-thought-out features. With OTA (Over-The-Air), firmware updates can be carried out wirelessly via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or the mobile network. The IPX7 protection class guarantees water resistance, and the Dynamic Motion LED shows the device's status at a glance. Additionally, the device features an integrated LED light, which proves practical when, for example, searching for keys in the dark.

Thanks to the magnetic mounting system, the intercom can be easily switched between two helmets, and the interchangeable covers in four colors (dark chrome, metallic silver, pearl white, glossy black) allow for a personalized adjustment to the helmet.

The SENA 60S is available for pre-order from November 1, 2024, for €399. The device will be officially unveiled at the EICMA in Milan from November 5 to 10, 2024. SENA will be present in Hall 15 at Stand M49.
