The Ninja 1100SX features an increased displacement of 1,099 cc, which is designed to provide higher torque across the entire rev range. Combined with a new quickshifter that operates from as low as 1,500 rpm and a heavier flywheel, Kawasaki claims this results in smoother riding performance. An extended gear ratio in the 5th and 6th gears contributes to lower fuel consumption and more comfort at higher speeds.
