Ground Effect Aerodynamics: A Novelty in Production

The Aprilia RSV4 X ex3ma is the first production bike equipped with ground effect aerodynamics. This technology, originally developed for MotoGP, is designed to significantly improve riding stability and cornering. The special fairing increases the downforce on the bike in corners by threefold, resulting in more grip. The aerodynamics package includes a 550 mm wide front wing, which significantly boosts the downforce compared to previous models, the wing under the swingarm (also known as the "Spoon"), as well as additional components on the front fender.

Technical Data: 230 hp and 165 kg

The RSV4 X ex3ma is powered by a 65° V4 engine with 1099 cc. The engine delivers 230 hp at 13,500 rpm and a torque of 131 Nm at 11,000 rpm. Through targeted adjustments such as higher compression and a special SC-Project exhaust system - which visually matches the retro-inspired Perla Nera paint perfectly - Aprilia Racing was able to further increase the performance. Weighing only 165 kg, which is also achieved thanks to the carbon wheels, the RSV4 X ex3ma combines high performance with low weight.

In addition to the sophisticated aerodynamics and engine development, the RSV4 X ex3ma shines with advanced electronics. The bike is controlled by the APX racing control from Aprilia Racing, which has been adopted from the Superbike World Championship. This control allows precise adjustments of traction control, wheelie control, engine braking, and power, which can be adjusted while riding.

Only the finest goods on board

The multi-award-winning dual-spar aluminum frame is complemented by a mechanical Öhlins suspension with a custom setup. The Brembo brake system includes a 19x16 radial master cylinder at the front, GP4 MS calipers machined from solid with Z04 racing pads, and 330 mm T Drive brake discs, while the rear brake disc is equipped with a caliper featuring a nickel-plated surface.

The rims are equipped with the same slick tires that Pirelli uses in the Superbike World Championship: SC1 (front, 125/70) and SCX (rear, 200/65).

Aprilia RSV4 X ex3ma: Quantity and Price

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Max Biaggi's first world championship title in the 250cc class, the RSV4 X ex3ma will be produced in a limited edition of only 30 numbered units. Each buyer of this €80,000 machine (excluding VAT) will not only receive a unique motorcycle but also an exclusive pickup at the Aprilia Racing headquarters in Noale. In addition to the bike, the package includes a personalized Yashi laptop for ECU management, a special cover, a carpet, and a stand.
