The design of the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak 2025 is based on the characteristic elements of the Multistrada V4, complemented by sporty accents such as the 17-inch front wheel and the single-sided swingarm. The special Pikes Peak paintwork, inspired by the racing colors of MotoGP, Superbike World Championship, and Motocross, visually sets the model apart from other variants. Additionally, the Pikes Peak features carbon components and an Akrapovič titanium muffler, which emphasizes the sporty appearance.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is powered by a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, delivering 170 hp and generating 123.8 Nm of torque. The linear torque curve ensures consistent throttle response across the entire rev range. An advanced cylinder deactivation system reduces fuel consumption and emissions at low speeds or idle. When needed, the rear cylinders are reactivated to provide full engine power.

The Race mode, available exclusively in the Pikes Peak version, offers a sporty engine management with an early warning from the limiter, making gear changes at high revs easier. Additionally, the quickshifter has been optimized for faster and more aggressive downshifting, and the safety systems intervene later.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak offers five riding modes, including the new Race mode, which is designed for maximum performance. The Sport mode also provides a sporty, but less aggressive setup. The Touring mode ensures smoother power delivery and increased comfort on long tours. The Urban and Wet modes limit the engine power to 115 hp and maximize stability on wet or slippery road conditions.

The chassis of the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is optimized for sporty rides. Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires and forged aluminum five-spoke wheels in 17-inch format ensure precise steering and good handling. The semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension automatically adjusts to the riding style to maximize comfort during touring while providing more support during spirited riding. The Brembo braking system, also used on the Panigale V4, offers high braking performance with front 330 mm brake discs and Brembo Stylema monoblock calipers. At the rear, a 280 mm brake disc with a floating caliper is installed.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is equipped with a comprehensive electronics package based on Ducati's inertial platform, which controls systems such as cornering ABS, traction control (DTC), and wheelie control (DWC). The new Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), which integrates data from 70 sensors, enhances the performance of these systems through more precise control.

Additionally, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak features a radar system with functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). Newly added is the Forward Collision Warning (FCW), which alerts the rider to impending rear-end collisions. The Engine Brake Control (EBC) can be adjusted in three levels, and the combined braking system distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels to ensure optimal braking performance in various riding situations.

The ergonomics of the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak have been optimized for sporty rides. Higher positioned pegs and a narrower handlebar improve control and allow for greater lean angles. Despite these sporty adjustments, the bike remains suitable for longer tours. The space for the pillion has been expanded by the rearward-positioned panniers.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak for the 2025 model year is available in a single trim level, which comes standard with front and rear radar, and will be available at dealerships starting in October 2024. The price in Germany starts at 31,590 Euros.
