Style and looks - clearly an MV Agusta Superveloce!

The concept of the MV Agusta retro-racer is well-known - it has been celebrated for several years in the form of the Superveloce 800. After numerous special editions that sold out in no time, the next logical step is to bring the design into the 1000cc class. The characteristic style elements of the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro, which align with the Superveloce series, include the round headlight, horizontal lines, and the aesthetic enhancement through the use of precious materials like carbon fiber. Winglets are now also being introduced into the model family, which not only serve aesthetic purposes but are also intended to provide downforce.

Selected details refine the retro MV Agusta

Notable attention has been paid to premium components. For instance, the seat is made of leather and Alcantara, adorned with the MV logo. A leather strap runs the entire length of the tank, extending from the laser-engraved plate at the base to the "Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro" logo, under which the serial number is indicated. The rear wheel hub features the MV logo, its design mirroring that of the headlight. The use of titanium for the fasteners further enhances the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro, which is a tribute to MV Agusta's history, presented in Ago Silver, Pearl Shock Red, and Gold Ciclistica colors.

MV Agusta Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro 2024 Performance

The inline four-cylinder engine of the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro - known from the Brutale 1000 - delivers 208 hp at 13,000 rpm and 116.5 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. Technical features include DLC-coated camshafts and titanium connecting rods. The electronic gearbox MV EAS 4.0 (Electronically Assisted Shift Up&Down) works for both upshifting and downshifting.

The electronics have been specifically tuned for the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro. The switchable traction control has eight intervention levels: two for wet or slippery conditions (Rain), three for road use, and three for the race track. The switchable FLC (Front Lift Control) operates based on data collected by the IMU and does not prevent wheelies but optimizes them by maintaining an optimal angle to make the most of the acceleration. This riding aid works in conjunction with the Launch Control.

There are four riding modes: three preset (Rain, Sport, Race) and one that the rider can customize (Custom). In this mode, the rider can adjust parameters such as throttle sensitivity, engine torque, engine braking, engine response, limiter, and electronic suspension settings.

Chassis and brakes

The chassis of the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro consists of a steel tube frame with aluminum plates and an adjustable single-sided swingarm. The fully adjustable and electronic suspension from Öhlins ensures a balance between comfort and performance. The braking system from Brembo, equipped with 320 mm brake discs and radial Stylema calipers, offers high safety. The ABS system provides two intervention levels and a cornering function.
