KTM EXC MY25 - Innovations and Improvements

The 2025 EXC models feature a new closed-cartridge suspension and improvements to the frame and bodywork. Visually, the design has been modernized with silver-gray graphics on an orange bodywork and a black frame. The orange seat is equipped with a new seat cover that offers high grip and textured grip on the frame protectors, fuel tank cover, and handlebar pad. At the rear, the optimized WP XPLOR PDS shock absorber provides improved handling and pressure balance. A renewed swingarm increases the durability of the chain guide. At the front, a revised fuel tank roller ensures a more stable tank position and additional frame protection. The new on/off switch on the handlebar comes from the SX series.

'Return of the KTM 125 XC-W'

One highlight of the new series is the reintroduction of the KTM 125 XC-W after ten years. This model is specifically designed for competition and uses the same engine as the KTM 125 SX 2025, but with an enduro gearbox and stator components from the KTM 150 EXC. Unlike other 2-stroke models, the KTM 125 XC-W does not have an additional oil tank and is equipped with a mapping selection switch.

'EXC MY25 Model Overview'

The 2025 2-stroke EXC range includes the KTM 125 XC-W, KTM 150 EXC, KTM 250 EXC, and KTM 300 EXC models. The 4-stroke range remains unchanged with the KTM 250 EXC-F, KTM 350 EXC-F, KTM 450 EXC-F, and KTM 500 EXC-F models.

All models of the EXC range feature a hydroformed, laser-cut, and robot-welded frame. This frame offers optimal rigidity, excellent rider feedback, and straight-line stability. The suspension consists of a 48 mm closed-cartridge fork from WP ACT and a WP XPlor PDS shock absorber.

KTM EXC SIX DAYS Special Models

Also this model year, KTM is rolling out various special editions of the EXC series - one of them being the well-known SIX DAYS series. In addition to the WP Closed-Cartridge suspension with 48 mm and the unique 6DAYS Spain graphics, the KTM EXC SIX DAYS series 2025 features updated shock settings, an updated chain guide, and a revised fuel tank roller.
