In the development of the E2, Schuberth focused on enhancing safety and comfort. The fiberglass composite shell of the new E2 is crafted using Schuberth's Direct Fiber Processing technology and strengthened with carbon fibers to enhance impact resistance and decrease weight. Comfort-wise, a new peak design was created to reduce vibrations and shocks, while also providing ventilation. With three adjustable peak positions, riders can customize their helmet configuration - or ride without a peak altogether.

Optimizations on the Schuberth E2 2023
Ventilation and comfort of the Adventure helmet
The new E2 from Schuberth is clearly positioned in the adventure segment, aiming to get riders out on the road or gravel in all weather conditions. To achieve this, the new E2 features a dual air intake on the chin to prevent visor fogging in cold temperatures and to provide extra airflow in warmer conditions. A washable and replaceable filter in the chin ventilation is designed to keep out dust, mud, and insects. Additionally, adjustable head ventilation and a new, larger spoiler with air extraction work together to maintain a comfortable climate inside the helmet.
Like all Schuberth helmets, the inner lining of the E2 is made of antibacterial and breathable fabrics. To ensure optimal comfort for all head shapes, the new Schuberth E2 is part of the "Schuberth Individual Program," which offers various adjustments for the helmet lining.
Schuberth E2 with Plug&Play communication system
The new E2 is designed to be compatible with the Schuberth SC2 communication system. The helmet comes pre-wired with HD speakers and three antennas for MESH intercom, Bluetooth intercom, and FM radio. Installing the system should be straightforward: simply connect the HD BOOM microphone, remove the covers on the back and side of the helmet, attach the remote control to the side housing, and mount the main communication unit on the back.
