Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS 2021

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS 2021

Starting with the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, it is equipped with a 180 HP in-line engine that delivers 125 Nm of torque. The engine is fuel-injected and features three cylinders, providing a rev-happy and powerful performance. The bike also comes with a top quickshifter, allowing for seamless gear changes. Additionally, the Speed Triple 1200 RS is known for its versatility, being easy to handle in city traffic while also offering impressive speed when needed. It has a light and compact ride, stable handling even in fast corners, and strong brakes for reliable stopping power. The suspension, provided by Öhlins, can be adjusted for compression, preload, and rebound, ensuring a comfortable and controlled ride. The bike's frame is made of aluminum, contributing to its overall lightweight design. However, the Speed Triple 1200 RS does have some weaknesses, including load change reactions at low speeds, a slightly too low steering angle, and a narrow knee angle for taller riders. The mobile phone connectivity can be stubborn, and the brakes may produce squeaky noises. The traction control system is also considered too defensive, even in track mode, and there may be vibrations on the handlebars. Some riders also feel that the suspension does not respond sensitively enough, with a basic set-up that is too tight.

Moving on to the Kawasaki Z H2 SE, it boasts a more powerful engine, with 200 HP and 137 Nm of torque. Like the Speed Triple 1200 RS, it features an in-line engine with fuel injection, but with four cylinders instead of three. The Z H2 SE's engine offers incredible power, providing an exhilarating riding experience. The bike also comes with advanced rider assistance systems, including electronically adjustable suspension, riding modes, cornering ABS, launch control, ride by wire, quickshifter, traction control, and anti-wheelie. These systems enhance the bike's performance and safety. The Z H2 SE features a steel frame with a tubular design, providing strength and stability. It also has a good braking system with double disk brakes, four-piston calipers, and Brembo technology. The suspension, provided by Showa, can be adjusted for compression, preload, and rebound, ensuring a comfortable and controlled ride. The Z H2 SE offers an independent look with good wind protection for a naked bike. However, it does have a high weight, which can affect maneuverability. Some riders also find the handlebars to be a little too narrow for their liking.

Kawasaki Z H2 SE 2021

In conclusion, both the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS 2021 and the Kawasaki Z H2 SE 2021 are powerful naked bikes with their own strengths and weaknesses. The Speed Triple 1200 RS offers versatility, a rev-happy engine, and precise handling. On the other hand, the Z H2 SE boasts an incredibly powerful engine, advanced rider assistance systems, and good wind protection. Ultimately, the choice between these two bikes will depend on the rider's preferences and priorities.

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS 2021

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS 2021

Precise, powerful and fast! The Triumph is a lot of fun on Alpine passes. However, you can only forgive the tight chassis if you are a sporty rider. But you have to love the engine. No matter whether you're strolling or heating up - the power is always available in a well-dosed manner.

Kawasaki Z H2 SE 2021

Kawasaki Z H2 SE 2021

What a naked bike! The Kawasaki Z H2 SE has one thing that is absolutely addictive: a supercharged power unit that works like a steam catapult! The 200 hp from exactly one litre of displacement actually seem to unite from idle and tug together on the chain right up to the limiter. Nor can the Z H2 SE be accused of lacking stability; the electronically adjustable chassis does a good job and above all provides sufficient comfort. At almost 240 kilos ready to ride, the Kawa is of course no lightweight and needs to be pushed into the bends, but you can't call it unwieldy either. A slightly wider handlebar would help. The appearance is clearly a matter of taste, but the protruding front offers comparatively good wind protection.

incredibly powerful engine

the electronic chassis offers comfort

independent look with good wind protection for a naked bike

good braking system

High weight

handlebars a little too narrow
