Suzuki SV 650 2021

Suzuki SV 650 2021

Not much has changed on the Suzuki SV 650 compared to its predecessor, five years ago. The engine has been updated to Euro5 and is now even more mature, which fits in perfectly with the rest of the package. The SV 650 doesn't want to scare anyone, especially beginners. The chassis makes a solid, unagitated impression, the brakes require a lot of manual force to prevent unexpected overbraking. The look is timeless on the one hand, but on the other hand some components are really a bit outdated. On the other hand, the price is fair, as usual for Suzuki.

Confident V2 powerplant with character

stable chassis

comfortable seating position

easy handling, timeless look

no electronics on board apart from ABS

Yamaha MT-09 SP 2024

Yamaha MT-09 SP 2024

The Yamaha MT-09 SP already had it easy in the previous generation, as it is the even more refined version of an already really good, because wonderfully agile fun machine! The current SP version is no different, but it has been improved even further. A little more power, increased torque and better-tuned electronics make it even more fun. As expected, the suspension with classier KYB and Öhlins components works excellently, the brakes could be a little sharper, but the seating position is still what you would expect from such an agile and easily controllable fun machine. The few quirks like the small TFT display or the controversial light mask in no way make it worse, but simply an even more independent personality!

Extremely agile and powerful engine

comfortable riding position

high-quality suspension elements from KYB and Öhlins

good quickshifter with blipper

distinctive look.
