Honda Gold Wing F6C 2014
Honda expanded the Goldwing range very late, last year with the F6B bagger and this year with the naked, but no less massive F6C - so you realise how far the term naked bike can be stretched. As purist as the naked Goldwing is, the powerful appearance with almost 350 kilos is unmistakable. However, a huge six-cylinder boxer engine with over 1800 cubic metres also needs a stable chassis. For despite all the gentleness with which the engine can purr along, the 167 Newton metres of torque are as brute as if you were sitting on a steam catapult. The taut chassis and upright seating position suggest sporty abilities, but the F6C is not an agile cornering machine because of its mass and dimensions. The fact that the Honda Goldwing F6C is also very expensive also fits perfectly into the picture - this exceptional motorbike is not for everyone.
