Moto Guzzi V85 TT 2022

Moto Guzzi V85 TT 2022

The cruiser among the touring enduros radiates cosiness and sovereignty. Its thundering V2 engine moves well and forgivingly. The chassis and brakes also work well. It is just as ill-suited to extreme off-road situations as it is in the hands of notorious knee-grinders. The Moto Guzzi V 85 TT likes to do its rounds in a refined and comfortable manner, and even for longer tours it offers enough practical comfort with its cardan drive and ergonomics. On top of that, it looks sensational and conveys emotion. The only thing some of our testers would like is a few more horses than its 80 hp.

Cosy, forgiving V2 engine

great sound

good decelerating brakes

very iconic, beautiful exterior

suitable for light off-road terrain

easy-care cardan drive

some of our editors would like to see more sportiness and performance

unsuitable for harder off-road tracks

driving in a standing position difficult for taller pilots

Suzuki SV 650 2023

Suzuki SV 650 2023

The Suzuki SV 650 has been on the market for 25 years, longer than any other motorbike. The engine has been updated to Euro5 and is now even more mature, which clearly fits in with the rest of the package. The SV 650 doesn't want to scare anyone, especially beginners. The chassis makes a solid, unagitated impression, the brakes require a lot of manual force to prevent unexpected overbraking. The look is timeless on the one hand, but on the other hand some components are really a bit outdated. On the other hand, the price is fair, as usual for Suzuki.

Last V2 powerplant in the class

beginner-friendly seating position

easy handling, timeless look

Brake requires manual force

no electronics on board apart from ABS

instruments moderately readable
