Starting with the Ducati Monster SP 2023, one of its main strengths is its lively and high-torque engine. With 111 HP and 93 Nm of torque, the Monster SP offers a thrilling riding experience. Additionally, the finely responsive Öhlins suspension provides excellent handling and control. The Brembo Stylema brakes are also a standout feature, offering powerful and precise stopping power. Another positive aspect of the Monster SP is the beautiful sound produced by the Termignoni exhaust. The bike's sporty ergonomics and good quickshifter further enhance the overall riding experience.

On the other hand, the Monster SP does have some weaknesses. One common complaint is the jerking experienced in the low rev range, which can make low-speed maneuvering less smooth. Additionally, the Monster SP comes with a very high price tag, making it less accessible for some riders. Another weakness is the sluggish clutch, which can affect the bike's overall performance.
Moving on to the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2022, one of its main strengths is its title as the most powerful naked bike ever. With an impressive 208 HP and 123 Nm of torque, the Streetfighter V4 S offers unparalleled performance. The bike's good ergonomics ensure a comfortable and controlled riding position. The electronically adjustable Öhlins suspension is superb, providing a smooth and customizable ride. The Brembo Stylema brakes on the Streetfighter V4 S are also top-notch, offering excellent stopping power. The full electronics package, including ABS, riding modes, dynamic suspension, cornering ABS, launch control, ride by wire, quickshifter, traction control, and anti-wheelie, further enhance the bike's performance and safety. Lastly, the Streetfighter V4 S has a handsome and distinctive look that sets it apart from other naked bikes.

However, the Streetfighter V4 S does have a few weaknesses. Some riders find the exhaust sound to be loud, which may not be to everyone's taste. Additionally, the bike's full power is only accessible in the upper rev range, which may limit its usability in certain situations.
Overall, both the Ducati Monster SP 2023 and the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2022 offer impressive performance and features. The Monster SP is a more affordable option with a lively engine and excellent suspension, while the Streetfighter V4 S is a powerhouse with top-of-the-line components and a distinctive look. Pros and Cons in comparison
Pros and Cons in comparison
Ducati Monster SP 2023

The SP version is clearly the more expensive, but also clearly the better Ducati Monster. Everything fits together perfectly, because it is typically Ducati sporty. The fully adjustable Öhlins suspension (including the fork in Swedish gold!) fulfils its purpose perfectly, the Brembo Stylema braking system grips vehemently but not unpleasantly and the seating position, with its slightly more forward lean, is sporty but still comfortable. Even the engine fits very well into the concept of the very sporty mid-range naked bike - it wants to be revved and delivers the most power at the top end. If you are looking for a flaw in the Monster SP, it is most likely the jerking of the V2 at low revs, but true fans of the 90° V2 engine will not be offended by this at all. The price is not a problem either, as the Italians pay a pretty high price for the performance of the SP version.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 S 2022

The problem of the Streetfighter V4 S with Euro4 engine, namely no power in the lower rev range but explosion in the upper rev range, has been largely rectified with the update to Euro5. Although the disgusting 208 hp are still only available at 13,000 rpm, the SF V4 S is now also acceptable at lower revs. Ergonomics and handling are still good, and the electronic Öhlins suspension is at its best. The brute Brembo Stylema stoppers again celebrate the penchant for the racetrack. A perfect poser bike that now also works on the country road, and on the racetrack anyway. Only the all-too-loud sound should be curbed a little.
