KTM 1290 Super Adventure 2016

The 1290 Super Adventure is rightly presented by KTM as an adventure flagship. Packed with sophisticated electronics and almost everything you could possibly need in a big touring enduro, it recommends itself as expected for the long haul. What you don't immediately see from its bulky appearance, however, is that the Super Adventure, like its 1190 sisters, is an incredible fun machine. Especially in tight corners, it is unbelievable fun. The electronics control traction, chassis and engine management so unobtrusively that you can concentrate fully and above all safely on accelerating. On the intermediate straights, the 160 hp of power ensure that the 1290 Super Adventure can also meet sporting requirements and is thus hardly surpassed in terms of universality.
Triumph Tiger Explorer XRx 2016

The segment of touring enduros has become much softer in terms of engines - in addition to the typical two-cylinder engines, there are also four-cylinder engines in R- and V-shape and Triumph now has to share the unique selling point of the in-line three-cylinder engine with two other manufacturers (MV Agusta Turismo Veloce and Yamaha Tracer 900). On the Tiger Explorer XRx, the large three-cylinder engine with its 1215 cubic capacity is very powerful, yet consistently refined. The sound already conveys that something different is coming along and with 140 hp, the big Tiger is by no means underpowered. And thanks to the good responsiveness, very tight bends are no problem despite the impressive weight. In terms of comfort, the well-equipped XRx version cannot be reproached.
