Harley-Davidson Touring Street Glide ST 2022

Harley-Davidson Touring Street Glide ST 2022

The Street Gilde ST presented itself very well dimensioned for ZONKO in the current 2022 model year. The wind protection is well dimensioned and does not completely disconnect the rider from the outside world. You feel connected to the road and can really enjoy the powerful ride. In the ST version, the Street Glide appears sportier, firmer and more muscular. The really good sound also contributes to this. Here, the two cylinders make music in a skilful duet at both the intake and the exhaust.

Impressive but not distracting sound

Powerful engine which roars upwards from the rev range

Vibrations and response fit perfectly into the overall picture

Clearly laid out cockpit

Great integrated navigation system

Good, practical electronic driving aids

Many beautiful details on the motorbike which really get to the heart

Easy-to-meter brakes with a clean pressure point and a good effect

Despite its high weight, the motorbike is easy to control and manoeuvre overall.

Plastic heat shield under the seat doesn't quite fit into the great overall picture

Rather tight seat

Air filter is a little annoying when operating the rear brake

Tight clutch

Small people will get into a bit of trouble with the wide handlebars in tight bends

Wind protection and precision reach their limits at motorway speeds.

Harley-Davidson Softail Heritage Classic 114 FLHCS 2023

Harley-Davidson Softail Heritage Classic 114 FLHCS 2023

If you can only try one Harley-Davidson, the Heritage is definitely a good choice. With its classic appearance and the roaring Milwaukee Eight V2, it embodies the brand's core values like no other model. It is also well suited as a touring bike thanks to cruise control, a comfortable saddle, side panniers and windshield. However, it is definitely the wrong bike for chasing the best times on the home track; the brakes and chassis are not designed for this. Anyone who demands that of it has not (yet) understood the subject of Harley-Davidson cruisers.
