KTM 250 EXC 2014

KTM 250 EXC 2014

The "big" two-stroke engine was newly developed in 2017 and is used on the 250 and 300. The electric starter is now no longer "flange-mounted" but compactly integrated. The 250 engine remains true to its line and has increased over the entire rev range. The bike offers a high degree of perfection and in expert hands is an unbeatable and indestructible winning machine. Strong enough for professionals! 300cc for the fast fraction not really necessary. Great plus in riding comfort thanks to the new balance shaft: significantly less vibration!

High performance in combination with lively handling

simple design - thus hardest to handle under extreme loads

lower vibrations due to new motor with balancer shaft

Compared to the four-stroke, still more strenuous to ride on long stages

engine response "good", but not as clean as with the four-stroke

compared to the 300, especially for less experienced pilots, too little torque in the rev range.

KTM 300 EXC 2023

The KTM 300 EXC remains the reference in the hard enduro segment and offers a first-class overall package for sporty riders. The powerful but easily controllable engine, precise suspension and modern technology make it the ideal choice for both tough enduro bike competitions and demanding off-road adventures. Some details such as the tight rear end and the tank pump could be improved, but overall the bike impresses with an impressive blend of power, agility and rideability.

Powerful and high-traction engine

low vibration despite two-stroke technology

linear and controllable power delivery

very good handling and high manoeuvrability

precise and stable suspension

high-quality Brembo brakes and clutch

tool-free suspension adjustment

automatic oil metering and injection for problem-free operation at all heights

narrow and ergonomic seating position

versatile use from hard enduro to enduro bike competition

Frame stiffness at the rear reduces comfort on rough surfaces

tank pump can cause problems when the tank level is low

practical radiator guard and fan must be paid for separately as accessories
