Kymco AK 550i ABS 2020

The Kymco AK 550i offers many features that make it very desirable as a maxi scooter: Cool looks, high comfort and the powerful engine are just a few of its advantages. You can ride it confidently on the motorway as well as on winding country roads and will be able to cover many kilometres in a short time. But one thing must be said: it needs a lot of exercise. The battery discharges relatively quickly when the car is at a standstill, so idle times of more than 10 days are not advisable, unless you have a power socket right next to the parking space. For charging, a charging cable should also be installed that ends in the glove compartment, as quick access to the battery is made difficult by the front trim. When buying a scooter, be sure to ask whether the software update has already been installed on the scooter! Finally, the obvious quality defect must be addressed when it is known at dealers that the left fork leg often leaks ex-works and requires repair (under warranty). There is thus a lot of potential in the Kymco AK 550i, which unfortunately is not fully realised.
