KTM 790 Duke 2025 Engine and Performance

For the European market, the KTM 790 Duke continues to offer only an A2-compliant version. This delivers 95 hp and 87 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, allowing the bike to meet local registration regulations for throttling to 48 hp. The unrestricted 105 hp variant will remain exclusive to other markets in 2025, which do not receive the 95 hp version. The liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine meets the EURO-5+ standard and, regardless of configuration, represents a balanced combination of agility, acceleration, and efficiency. We've never missed anything here, as the test of the predecessor shows.

KTM 790 Duke 2025 Chassis

The chassis of the KTM 790 Duke remains designed for sporty road rides. The geometry of the lightweight naked bike is crafted to provide agile handling and precise steering. For added comfort and control, the high-quality, adjustable WP APEX suspension, installed both at the front and rear, continues to deliver.

Technical updates as the most striking changes on the 790 Duke 2025

A new 5-inch TFT dashboard replaces the previous 4.5-inch display. The element, already known from the 990 Duke, offers improved user-friendliness, additional functions, and better readability compared to the old module. The KTM Demo Mode, already familiar from other models, allows buyers to test all available functions and features of the machine over a certain period before deciding for or against a purchase. The control panel has also been revised and is now said to offer a more intuitive layout and optimized lighting for poor lighting conditions.

The available riding modes include the proven settings RAIN, STREET, and SPORT. Additionally, the optional modes TRACK and PERFORMANCE are available, allowing for finer adjustments of traction and throttle response. The anti-wheelie function with six adjustment levels is also adopted from the larger sister models, ensuring safe fun and controlled rear-wheel adventures in the 790 as well.

Appearance: Typical Duke design and customization options

The KTM 790 Duke retains its distinctive KTM naked bike look, further sharpened by subtle tweaks to the headlight cover. This makes it unmistakably part of the Duke family. Two new color variants are available for the 2025 model year. For personalized customization of the 790, KTM offers, as usual, a wide range of PowerParts specifically developed for this model.

KTM 790 Duke 2025: Four-Year Warranty and Availability

New for the 2025 model year: The 790 Duke comes with a four-year manufacturer's warranty. A strong statement that underscores the confidence KTM places in the bike, manufactured in China since 2023, in terms of reliability and quality. The KTM 790 Duke 2025 will be available at all KTM dealers at the beginning of the year.
