Affordable is, of course, relative - Aprilia is not known for selling motorcycles at low prices. However, the Aprilia Tuono 457 is the most economical way to ride an agile Aprilia naked bike over 125 cc! The new A2-compliant model, with its liquid-cooled 457 cc parallel-twin engine and 47.6 hp, is particularly aimed at beginners, but also at advanced riders who prioritize nimbleness and everyday usability. The other components are also impressive: an aluminum frame, adjustable suspension, and ByBre brakes (Brembo) with Bosch dual-channel ABS, three riding modes (Eco, Sport, Rain), and a modern 5-inch color TFT display with smartphone connectivity make a strong statement in this class. The brand's typical design with LED lighting, compact ergonomics, and color options "Piranha Red" and "Puma Gray" complete the overall package.

Even with a Ducati, the term affordable should be taken with caution, but the Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark remains under the magical 10,000 euros in Germany at 9,990 euros, making it a truly accessible entry into the Scrambler world. For those who prefer it daring and all-black (and that's many of you!), the Icon Dark is perfectly suited - the name says it all. The Scrambler Icon Dark is presented in an entirely black paint job and is visually as simple as it gets. By omitting unnecessary splashes of color, the model appears tidy and plain, without losing character. The teardrop tank shape, a hallmark of the Scrambler series, is also kept in black, creating interesting shades through the mix of materials. Other black elements, such as the front fender and side panels, emphasize the clean design. The newly designed Scrambler logo on the matte black tank completes the aggressive and elegant design.

Older models and those who are familiar with Naked Bikes from about 20 years ago will inevitably think of the Z-Kawas of that era when looking at the front of the newly redesigned Honda CB750 Hornet! Why not, after all, the modern LED dual lights of the new 750 Hornet give it a refreshed and more distinctive appearance. Technically, almost everything remains the same, with some improvements. For instance, the chassis has been enhanced with optimized damping settings to provide a more agile riding feel and better riding stability. The engine, with its 92 horsepower, is already in excellent shape and handles the CB750 Hornet's 192 kilos when fully fueled with ease. The CB750 Hornet will be available in 2025 in four color options, including three new paint schemes: Mat Ballistic Black, Digital Silver Metallic, and Glint Wave Blue Metallic. Mat Pearl Glare White remains available as well. The price of the new Honda Hornet 750 is yet to be announced.

Few modernizations of a mid-range naked bike have been as eagerly anticipated as that of the Kawasaki Z900! While it is more of an evolution than a revolution, it can certainly be said that the new Kawasaki Z900 2025 receives updates in the right places. The 948cc inline-four engine, familiar from its predecessor, features a new camshaft profile, which is expected to result in an even more revvy character and stronger pull in the lower RPM range. Although the power and maximum torque, at 124 hp and 97.8 Nm, are slightly below the level of the 2024 model, the Z900 finally incorporates ride-by-wire technology. Kawasaki promises improved throttle response and a 16 percent reduction in fuel consumption. A new airbox is designed to provide a more pronounced intake sound.

In order to improve the handling of the Z900, the stiffness of the frame bracing behind the steering head has been modified. To enable the installation of the quickshifter, the area around the swingarm mount has also been revised. The control units on the left handlebar end have been redesigned as well. The rear frame now slopes less steeply upwards, and with a revised suspension setup, the seating position is more front-heavy. This results in more pressure on the front wheel, aiming for more precise handling and a transparent feel for the front tire. The shape of the front seat has also been changed, and two seat heights are available with the ERGO-FIT high seat at 830 mm (standard equipment) and an alternative ERGO-FIT low seat at 810 mm (accessory). This increases the seat height by 10 mm compared to the predecessor, which should particularly benefit taller riders.

Alongside a new radial brake system and Dunlop Sportmax Q5 tires, the electronic assault of the new Kawasaki Z900 is immense, thanks in part to the new IMU: Riding modes, lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, a quick shifter with blipper, cruise control, and a new 5-inch color TFT display are standard, marking a significant leap compared to its predecessor. For those who still find the new Kawa Z900 lacking in sportiness despite the greatly enhanced performance, the new model also offers a Z900 SE option: With an Öhlins S46 shock absorber, radially mounted Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers, a dual-tone saddle, and a USB-C port in the cockpit, the additional 1700 euros over the standard Z900 (11,199 euros in Austria, Z900 SE 12,899 euros) are justified.

The new Royal Enfield Bear 650 harks back to the legendary design and spirit of the scrambler motorcycles from the 1960s, blending this retro aesthetic with modern technology. The design follows the classic scrambler style with a high seat, wide handlebars, and an elevated rear. The three color variants, Petrol Green, Golden Shadow, and the special Two Four Nine paint, give the Bear 650 the presence expected from such a bike. In terms of performance, the Bear 650 is equipped with the proven 650cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 47 hp at 7,250 rpm. The 2-in-1 exhaust system optimizes torque and provides a broader power delivery, while the compact single muffler reduces weight and complements the minimalist scrambler design.

For a stable and comfortable ride, the Showa suspension is responsible: At the front, there is an USD fork with 130 mm travel, and at the rear, stereo shock absorbers with 115 mm travel. The Bear 650 is equipped with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, which, in combination with the wide dual-sport tires and a ground clearance of 184 mm, are also suitable for uneven terrain. The seating position of the Bear 650 is designed for comfort and control, thanks to the wide handlebars and centrally positioned footpegs. The contoured seat is intended to allow freedom of movement and provide support on rough terrain. Braking performance is ensured by a 320 mm disc brake at the front and a 270 mm disc at the rear. For off-road rides, the ABS on the rear wheel can be deactivated.

Although the Bear 650 is designed in a retro style, it offers modern features. The TBT dashboard (Turn-By-Turn navigation) with TFT display provides ride information and integrates Google Maps for navigation. The display is operated via a joystick on the aluminum switch unit. A USB-C port allows devices to be charged while riding, and the LED lighting ensures better visibility and visibility. The Bear 650 will be available at European dealers from February 2025. In Germany, the Petrol Green variant costs 7,640 euros, Golden Shadow 7,790 euros, and the special Two Four Nine paint job 7,890 euros.

The Triumph Trident 660 for the 2025 model year impresses with enhanced features. The optimized cornering ABS and traction control, managed by a six-axis IMU, ensure improved braking and acceleration performance in lean angles. With the Triumph Shift Assist, clutchless gear changes are possible, and the cruise control aids on longer rides—all standard. In addition to the existing "Rain" and "Road" riding modes, there is now a "Sport" mode, which debuted in the new Daytona 660 in 2024. The engine performance of the Trident 660 remains unchanged for 2025. The triple continues to deliver 81 hp at 10,250 rpm and torque of 64 Newton meters at 6,250 rpm. For 2025, three new colors are available: Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue, and Diablo Red, along with the classic Jet Black option still available. The new Trident 660 will be available from December 2024, priced from 8,295 euros in Germany and from 9,295 euros in Austria. In Germany, this represents an increase of 150 euros compared to the 2024 model, while the price remains unchanged in Austria.

It might be expected that the new Yamaha MT-07 would come with an expanded engine capacity and thus more power - however, the well-known 689cc CP2 engine, with its 73.4 hp and 67 Newton meters of torque, remains a lively and punchy companion that already offers plenty of grunt for this class. Added to this is the cool look in the style of the MT-09, a new 5-inch color TFT display, and with the newly introduced ride-by-wire system, traction control, riding modes, and an optional quickshifter with blipper. Particularly exciting is the Y-AMT, the automated clutch, which is now available for the MT-07 for a relatively small additional charge! The Yamaha MT-07 2025 will therefore be available in two versions: The standard version for 8799 euros in Austria and the MT-07 Y-AMT with automated transmission (which also comes standard with cruise control) for 9399 euros. Prices for Germany are not yet available. Both models are available as A2 versions and in three color variants: Ice Storm, Icon Blue, and Tech Black.
