Three-cylinder engine now Euro5+ compliant

The three-cylinder engine with a displacement of 660 cc remains the heart of this model, now adapted to the new regulations. With an output of 81 hp at 10,250 rpm and a torque of 64 Nm at 6,250 rpm, it is designed to offer smooth, direct, and linear power delivery. The torque is also expected to be accessible over a large portion of the rev range. For beginners with an A2 license, an optional restrictor kit is available, which can be installed by authorized dealers.

New Features for 2025

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is set to launch in 2025 with a host of new, rider-focused technologies that have previously been used in larger displacement classes and are now making their way into the middleweight segment.

Highlights include the three riding modes: "Road," "Rain," and "Sport." While the first two modes are designed for controlled and safe riding, the new "Sport" mode aims to deliver a more dynamic performance and appeal to the more spirited rider. This is complemented by cornering ABS and cornering traction control, which are intended to ensure optimal safety even in challenging situations.

Another advantage, especially on long-distance rides, is the standard cruise control, which is designed to prevent wrist fatigue and make highway journeys more comfortable. The TRIUMPH Shift Assist serves a similar purpose, allowing clutchless up and downshifting.

Technologically, the Tiger Sport 660 sets new standards with the My TRIUMPH Connectivity System. This now allows seamless smartphone integration with the motorcycle, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, phone calls, and music playback directly through the bike's controls. All information is displayed on a large LCD-TFT display, which is designed to ensure easy readability under various lighting conditions. The equipment is rounded off by full LED lighting.

With these comprehensive updates, the TRIUMPH Tiger Sport 660 aims to combine cutting-edge technology, safety, and comfort in a versatile package.

Comfort on Long Tours

In terms of comfort and ergonomics, the new Tiger Sport 660 aims to impress. It offers an upright seating position, an adjustable windscreen, and comfortable seats for both rider and pillion. The Showa suspension with adjustable preload is designed for stability and comfort while riding on various terrains. Details like integrated mounts for side cases and the 17.2-liter fuel tank are intended to complete the overall package.

The weight remains unchanged at 207kg in the new version, and the Nissin brakes and Michelin Road 5 tires remain loyal to the Tiger Sport 660. According to the manufacturer, it feels at home both in tight urban passages and on twisty country roads - perhaps the 1000PS team will take a closer look at this in the new season.

Long maintenance intervals and low costs

The Tiger Sport 660 is designed to appeal to touring enthusiasts not only technically but also economically. Long maintenance intervals of 16,000 kilometers and low operating costs are part of the revised version. Triumph also offers a four-year warranty with no mileage limit, which also applies to original accessories purchased together with the motorcycle.

From December 2024, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 2025 will be available at dealers. In addition to the classic Sapphire Black color, the premium paint options Roulette Green, Carnival Red, and Crystal White are available. The price starts at 9,495 euros in Germany and 10,395 euros in Austria.
