NEW Indian Scout Sixty, Roadmaster, and Springfield 2025

The recently thoroughly revised Indian Scout model range will be expanded in 2025 with the all-new Scout Sixty platform. The European Scout Sixty lineup now includes two models - Scout Sixty Bobber and Scout Sixty Classic. This brand-new model is positioned as the most accessible Indian model with a comparatively affordable price, and with its low seat height, it is suitable for riders of all sizes and experience levels. Additionally, the low center of gravity gives the motorcycle a light riding feel and allows for easy maneuverability at low speeds. The Indian Scout Sixty models come standard with footpegs positioned relatively far back for sporty and easy controllability. The completely redesigned 999 cc SpeedPlus engine with 85 hp and 87 Newton meters of torque fits perfectly - certainly not weak, but with a pleasant power delivery for riders of all skill levels.

The new Indian Scout Sixty will be available in 2025 in two versions: the Scout Sixty Bobber and the Sixty Classic. While the Bobber is a model with a minimalist, aggressive stance featuring a low seat height and a solo seat in the typical Bobber style, along with black elements and 16-inch five-spoke wheels, the Scout Sixty Classic represents the classically inspired model with chrome accents, classic Indian fenders, and comfortable ergonomics for a relaxed riding experience.

ABS is, of course, standard across the entire model range due to legal requirements, while traction control and riding modes are available in the Limited versions and optional on the standard versions. The riding modes of the Scout Sixty (Sport, Standard, Rain) offer different throttle responses to support various riding styles and road conditions. To make its timeless American style and easy handling accessible to a broader audience, the Scout Sixty is also available in an A2-compliant version for younger riders.

• Standard: Includes an anti-lock braking system, LED lighting, a new fuel gauge, new controls, and a larger battery. The standard version comes with an analog speedometer and ignition key.

• Limited: In addition to the standard equipment, it offers enhanced features such as cruise control, traction control, and riding modes. A USB charging port ensures devices can be charged on the go. Limited models also feature exclusive badges for the engine and frame.

In 2024, it was a striking three-tone paint job with a dominant red role, while the 2025 Indian Roadmaster Elite features "Indian Motorcycle Springfield Blue Candy" with black and silver accents, as well as gold-plated "Headdress" logos. This handcrafted paint design, which requires over 45 hours of effort, is complemented by an exclusive Roadmaster Elite metal plaque on each individual model. The entire Roadmaster Elite series, by the way, consists of only 300 units, with just 60 outside North America!

The standard equipment of the Roadmaster Elite includes the PowerBand Audio System with bass enhancement, which is said to offer 50% more volume and sound quality than the audio system of the Roadmaster Limited. The 146 mm touchscreen display with Ride Command offers Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, and a factory-installed Ride Command+ access, which displays real-time weather and traffic data and supports tracking and safety alerts. The heated and cooled comfort seat for rider and pillion ensures impeccable comfort regardless of weather conditions. Spacious footboards and an electrically adjustable windshield offer a flexible seating position and enhance long-distance capability. The drive is as confident as ever, with the air-cooled Thunderstroke 116 engine delivering a mighty 171 Newton meters of torque with powerful pull and is regulated in its responsiveness through three riding modes (Tour, Standard, and Sport).

The bad news right away: The Indian Springfield Special Edition is so exclusive that it is not sold everywhere, but only in selected international markets. The good news, however, is that anyone who manages to snag a Springfield Special Edition will get a thoroughly successful Indian! While opinions on aesthetics can vary endlessly, the fact that the Springfield Special Edition is a homage to the legendary historical Indian design will surely be acknowledged with appreciation. Therefore, the two-tone paint design of the Springfield Special Edition in "Ivory Cream" and classic Indian Red, adorned with anniversary pins and gold accents, is an absolute highlight. The heart of the Springfield Special Edition, like the Roadmaster Elite, is the air-cooled Thunderstroke 116 V-Twin engine with 171 Newton meters of torque and three riding modes (Tour, Standard, and Sport). Additional features of the model include a removable and height-adjustable windshield, lockable hard-shell saddlebags, and many comfort-oriented features such as adjustable footrests.
