Engine and Performance of the CL500 2025

The well-known 471 cc parallel-twin engine delivers 47 hp and achieves a maximum torque of 43.4 Nm. The engine performance is compatible with the A2 license and offers a well-tuned power delivery for city traffic as well as excursions. With the modified injection system and updated engine management, the CL500 meets the Euro 5+ emissions standard even with the current engine. A six-speed gearbox and the slipper clutch facilitate gear changes and support a smooth ride.

Design and features

The design of the Honda CL500 draws inspiration from the scrambler models of the 60s and 70s, featuring elements like the round headlight, the rounded tank with knee pads, and the high-mounted exhaust with a heat shield. The low seat height of 790 mm and the narrow build allow riders of various sizes to comfortably ride the bike and securely reach the ground with their feet during short stops. The lighting technology is fully LED. The ESS emergency stop signal function causes the rear indicators to flash during abrupt braking, thereby increasing visibility for following traffic.

The CL500 is equipped with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. The block-pattern tires provide secure grip both on asphalt and on light off-road trails. Hydraulically operated single disc brakes with 2-channel ABS ensure reliable braking performance.

Honda CL500 2025 Price

The Honda CL500 is set to debut in 2025 with technical enhancements that optimize comfort and emissions. The price is yet to be announced.
