New Aprilia SX 125 and RX 125 for 2025

The new generation of the Aprilia SX 125 and RX 125 comes with several upgrades: a digital color display, full LED lighting, and an even more extensive range of accessories. Both models share a technical foundation, but while the SX 125 is designed for adventures on asphalt with 17-inch wheels and street tires, the RX 125 opts for off-road tires and a 21-inch front wheel along with an 18-inch rear wheel to conquer any terrain.

The liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with 125 cc continues to deliver the legally permitted peak output of 15 hp at 10,500 rpm and a torque of 11.5 Nm at 8,500 rpm, despite the Euro 5+ standard. The new design features a shorter, matte black exhaust system and a fairing that seamlessly extends from the front to the rear. Premium components such as the glossy black frame, the engine, and the high-quality aluminum handlebar give the models an elegant appearance. Practical: Under the seat, there is a compartment for a USB socket (available as an accessory).

Both models offer a comprehensive electronics package with a new LED lighting system and a modern, digital color display that clearly shows all important information such as RPM, gear, speed, and consumption. The SX 125 and RX 125 are also equipped with a high-quality Bosch ABS system, which for the first time in this class offers an anti-rollover function. On the SX, a 300 mm brake disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear ensure precise braking performance. The RX, on the other hand, features a 260 mm wave brake disc at the front and a 220 mm wave disc at the rear for off-road use.

Both the RX 125 and the SX 125 are available in the new color combinations of Cubozoa White with purple graphics and red details, as well as the classic Varanus Black. Additionally, there are numerous accessories that emphasize the sporty design, such as red anodized aluminum brake and clutch levers, a cover for the brake fluid reservoir, and aluminum fork protectors.
