Aprilia Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory NEW 2025

The new Aprilia Tuono V4 cracks the 180 horsepower mark!

There are few who would describe an Aprilia Tuono V4 as too unsporty - yet Aprilia plays it safe and grants the two Tuono V4 models for 2025 even more electronics, a revised design, and the most powerful V4 a Tuono has ever had!

Of course, when it comes to hyper-naked bikes, performance is key, but the looks should also be on point. That's why Aprilia has incorporated the latest aerodynamic insights from MotoGP into the new Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory. The design has been completely revamped to offer more protection from the airflow and to accommodate two stacked winglets that can increase the vertical load by 2.5 kg at 250 km/h. The design of the side fairings is also new; they are now better integrated into the styling of the new tail section. The taillight is lighter and more streamlined, integrated into the license plate holder, with all lighting functions taken over by the indicators. This way, the license plate holder can simply be removed to prepare the bike for track use. The equipment of the new Aprilia Tuono V4 models also includes a lightweight lithium battery, the 5-inch TFT color display with new graphics, and illuminated electronic controls on the handlebars.

More displacement means more power: 180 HP for Aprilia Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory!

The Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory are powered by the renowned 65° V4 engine, now enlarged from 1077 to 1099 cc and compliant with Euro5+ standards. This upgrade has even increased the power to 180 hp at 11,800 rpm and the maximum torque to 121 Nm at 9600 rpm.

Aprilia is writing a new chapter in on-board electronics with all new Aprilia V4 models: Aprilia has introduced a new generation of control systems available as in-app purchases, allowing riders to optimize electronic settings according to their riding style and requirements without needing to visit a dealer. The system helps riders safely explore their limits and gradually improve. This enhancement is achieved through new adaptive and predictive components for wheelie, traction, and yaw control. The algorithm processes vehicle parameters in real-time (including speed, lean angle, gear, throttle position, and more) to anticipate interventions, ensuring smooth and precise control. Furthermore, the sophisticated software continuously analyzes the bike's dynamic responses and the rider's style to enable refined and precise handling.

Even the basic electronic features of the Aprilia Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory are impressive.

Both models come standard with a six-axis IMU, an electronic ride-by-wire throttle, and three riding modes that manage the three levels of cornering ABS and the controls of the APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control), which includes:

  • ATC: Aprilia Traction Control: adjustable in eight levels while riding without closing the throttle. It offers a more effective intervention logic and now works in conjunction with the new ASC (Aprilia Slide Control), which is adjustable in three independent levels.
  • (New) AWC: Aprilia Wheelie Control: the new wheelie control system is adjustable in three levels and does not intervene abruptly to mitigate an impending wheelie, but acts gently before the event occurs to enhance performance. This adaptive feature, developed for track use, learns the rider's characteristics and adjusts the intervention level accordingly to ensure optimal performance.
  • AEM: Aprilia Engine Map: three different engine maps to modify engine character and power delivery.
  • AEB: Aprilia Engine Brake: the three-level adjustable engine braking control system with a specific algorithm that optimizes operation taking into account the lean angle.
  • AQS: Aprilia Quick Shift: the electronic gearbox for lightning-fast gear changes without closing the throttle or using the clutch. It features a downshift function without clutch engagement and allows downshifting with an open throttle.

Aprilia Track Pack, standard on the Tuono V4 Factory:

  • Race Dashboard: the race-specific instrument configuration.
  • ALC: Aprilia Launch Control: the start system designed exclusively for the race track, adjustable in three levels, offering highly effective operational strategies.
  • APL: Aprilia Pit Limiter: the system allows the rider to easily maintain the maximum speed in the pit lane or on the road.
  • (New) ASC: Aprilia Slide Control: the new three-level adjustable function to prevent and limit the lateral sliding of the rear wheel. Like the new AWC, ASC also features a predictive function.

Aprilia Comfort Pack, standard on the Tuono V4 Factory:

  • Cornering lights: a pair of auxiliary lights in the headlight housings illuminate the inside of the curves, enhancing visibility when leaning.
  • ACC: Aprilia Cruise Control: convenient for longer rides, allowing the rider to maintain a constant speed without operating the throttle.

Aprilia Race Pack, standard and exclusive to the Tuono V4 Factory:

Includes the GPS module, which enables automatic lap time recording on the race track, similar to racing motorcycles. The Race Pack allows: Corner-based functionality. Like the most advanced racing motorcycles, this system automatically adjusts the electronic ATC and AWC settings to the preferences set by the rider before heading out on the track.

Aprilia Suspension Pack, standard and exclusive to the Tuono V4 Factory:

This system automatically adjusts the electronic settings of the Öhlins Semi-Active Smart EC 2.0 suspension to the pre-set configurations determined by the rider. The Race Pack and the cornering-based control of the semi-active Öhlins suspension operate through the new fourth generation of the Aprilia MIA multimedia platform (available as an accessory on both models), allowing the rider to connect their smartphone to the bike, expand the functions of the instrument cluster, and download data for analysis.

Versions and Colors of the New Aprilia Tuono V4 2025

The Aprilia Tuono V4 will be available in 2025 in two color variants: Shark Grey and Scorpion Yellow, both in matte finish. The single-seat tail section, replacing the pillion seat, is included as standard. The crown jewel of the Aprilia Tuono V4 range, the Tuono V4 Factory, is available in a single color - Dark Kraken in Black/Red with a two-tone seat.
