Features and options of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce

The MV Agusta Enduro Veloce marks a significant milestone in MV Agusta's history, as it is the first model to use the brand-new 931cc triple engine. This engine is a remarkable advancement, delivering 124 hp and 102 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. In terms of performance, it sits between the middle and upper class. The performance makes the Enduro Veloce not only a powerful companion on long journeys but also an agile partner for twisty roads. The extensive features of the bike include a quickshifter that allows clutchless shifting in both directions, as well as fully adjustable suspension components. A handwheel for quick preload adjustment, which allows for rapid adaptation of the shock absorber to different load conditions, is also present. However, the windshield is not adjustable, and heated grips, which one might expect on a bike of this category, are also absent.

Optics and Design of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce

The MV Agusta Enduro Veloce combines functionality and aesthetics in a design that is robust, albeit slightly less elegant than that of the road-oriented models. The two-tone seat stands out and conveys a high-quality impression while also providing long-lasting riding comfort. The slim, dynamic design of the motorcycle, typical for a large adventure bike, reflects its power and nimbleness in riding performance. The lines are characteristic of MV Agusta in many places – modern and stylish, with attention to detail.

**Brakes of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce**

The braking system of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce is top-notch, offering excellent performance that underscores the sporty character of the bike. Equipped with high-quality brake discs and calipers from Brembo, it ensures precise braking and always gives the rider a secure feeling. Even when trail braking with a pillion, it shows no weaknesses. The brakes respond immediately and offer very good modulation. Even under heavy loads or demanding conditions, the braking performance remains constant and reliable with ample reserves for emergencies. The cornering ABS regulates finely, although very sporty riders might find the intervention a tad early. Always nice: the ABS function on the rear wheel can be deactivated.

Engine and transmission of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce

The newly developed 931cc triple engine is the heart of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce. With 124 horsepower and an impressive torque curve, this engine offers a perfect blend of power and control. Compared to the older 800cc engine used in other MV Agusta models, such as the Superveloce S or the Dragster RR SCS, this new engine is clearly a step forward in practice. The high torque is available at lower RPMs, which is particularly advantageous on trips and in everyday use, as the engine does not need to be constantly wound out to deliver power. At the same time, the engine produces a typically aggressive and sporty sound at high RPMs, which characterizes MV Agusta bikes. On long stretches or through town passages, however, it can also be ridden quietly, which will please fellow travelers and residents. The engine is flexible enough to allow for both relaxed cruising and spirited riding, a true masterpiece of an engine.

The six-speed gearbox is practically tuned, and the rev level is tolerable even at highway speeds. The standard quickshifter generally works satisfactorily, but occasionally a jerk can be noticed during shifts at very low RPMs.

Riding performance on country roads and touring suitability of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce

The MV Agusta Enduro Veloce is the most dynamic 21-inch adventure bike on the market. It is surprisingly agile and easy to maneuver. The wide handlebars significantly contribute to this agility, allowing for precise control, especially in tight corners or on twisty roads. The fully adjustable suspension offers an excellent balance between comfort and stability. It effortlessly absorbs bumps on poor roads while ensuring stable riding performance at higher speeds. This versatility makes the Enduro Veloce a great companion both on long highway stretches and on winding country roads. The high payload capacity of over 250 kg is another plus, making it particularly suitable for travel, as it ensures a comfortable and safe riding experience even when fully loaded or with a pillion. For off-road riding impressions, I refer to Nils' test report from the presentation.

Enduro Veloce for Two - Ergonomics and Pillion Suitability

The ergonomics of the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce are well thought out, offering a high level of space and comfort for both the rider and the pillion. The seat is well-padded, providing a comfortable seating position that doesn't cause fatigue even on long rides. The knee angle is relaxed, and the rider's seat can be adjusted in two positions, offering additional flexibility to tailor the seat to individual needs. For the pillion, the seat of the Enduro Veloce is a good choice. The pillion seat is also comfortable, and the grab handles are positioned so that they are easily accessible and provide a secure grip. These features are particularly beneficial on long-distance rides. The motorcycle offers ample space for both the rider and the pillion, allowing even two full-grown men to travel without feeling cramped.
