CFMOTO Dirtbikes for Kids: The CX-2E and CX-5E

Both models, the CX-2E and the CX-5E, are equipped with a 48V24Ah 1152Wh lithium-ion battery. The CX-2E can cover up to 78 kilometers under ideal conditions, while the CX-5E reaches about 60 kilometers. An important feature is the IP66 protection of the batteries, which ensures their longevity and safety. Thanks to a practical quick-release mechanism, the batteries can be easily swapped, allowing for longer riding times without significant interruptions.

The CX-2E is equipped with a 48V BLDC electric motor that delivers a maximum power of 1.2 kW and a torque of 6.4 Nm. This motor allows the bike to accelerate from 0 to 20 km/h in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 24 km/h. These specifications make the CX-2E ideal for riders aged 4 to 7 years.

For older children, aged 8 to 12, the CX-5E offers a more powerful 48V BLDC electric motor with a maximum output of 1.5 kW and a torque of 7 Nm. This model accelerates from 0 to 20 km/h in 2.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 44 km/h. Both models feature three riding modes, allowing parents to adjust the speed according to their children's abilities.

A technical feature is the integration of the electric motor and controller into a compact unit. This design uses highly thermally conductive adhesive to keep the internal temperature of the motor within the optimal range, thereby maximizing efficiency. The models also offer a large display, through which riders can monitor battery consumption, charge status, and selected gear settings.
