Experiences with the Modeka Hydron Lady Gear

Modeka describes the Hydron Suit as a reliable touring companion, characterized by revolutionary multifunctionality and membrane technology. The durability is also ensured by the quick-absorbing and drying Tactel material. Since off-road terrain can lead to abrasion and greater wear, Modeka uses stretchable and resistant outer material according to their website. Large ventilation slots are intended to provide sufficient breathability. To carry necessary items like a phone and wallet, spacious pockets are a clear must. The Hydron jacket features, among other things, a removable, waterproof lumbar pocket. It is available in two colors, a lighter gray and dark gray.

I wore the Damen Hydron Suit for a week in Barcelona. The temperatures ranged from 10 to 22 degrees. The material and weight of the clothing proved to be very comfortable, and especially the longer rides in the warmth showed that a little sweat is no opponent. Both the jacket and pants performed well in terms of comfort, functionality, and reliability. The Hydroflex membrane was easy to remove/attach and proved very useful with its versatile applications. This versatility also crept into my riding style, and on uneven terrain, there was brief contact with the rocky ground. Naturally, in this context, almost any textile reaches its limits, but I would have wished for a bit more resistance alongside functionality. Overall, however, the set does a good job and scores with its pleasant and quite adaptable material.
