My first motorcycle was a Derbi Senda 50 cc at the age of 16. Since then, smaller supermotos had largely fallen off my radar. I was drawn to the increasingly rapid and superlative motorcycles, captivated by their advanced technology filled with sensors and microcomputers. This model is powered by a single-cylinder four-stroke engine with a displacement of 124.66 cc, producing a peak power of 15 hp at 9,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.8 Nm at 6,750 rpm. The engine meets the Euro 5 emissions standards and features an electronic fuel injection system and a slipper clutch system to prevent rear wheel lock-up during rapid downshifts, enhancing safety.

The suspension setup includes a 41 mm upside-down fork at the front, which is non-adjustable, and a hydraulically adjustable rear shock absorber.

The supermoto light mask and the hand guard also contribute to the sporty look, although the mounting of the light mask may initially raise concerns, as it is mainly attached with rubber bands and therefore appears somewhat wobbly. This peculiarity may be irritating at first, but with time you realize that it is merely a special feature of the design that does not spoil the overall impression.

From a technical point of view, the Fantic XMF 125 remains true to its line by dispensing with superfluous electronics and concentrating on solid mechanics. This not only makes it reliable and low-maintenance, but also allows you to enjoy the pure riding experience - without the distraction of complex assistance systems. The robust and simple design particularly appeals to those who appreciate an uncomplicated and direct driving experience.
