Triumph Trident Triple Tribute 2024

Triumph is introducing a new special edition called Trident Triple Tribute, which adds a visually striking element to the popular Trident 660 model series. The bike features a white, blue, and red design, paying homage to the legendary British racing three-cylinder. This special edition comes equipped with shift assist, a front spoiler, and a color-matching flyscreen. The cool color scheme is a modern take on the classic Triumph racing livery, with the iconic start number 67 paying tribute to the legendary Trident racing motorcycle "Slippery Sam" from the 1970s. The Triumph Naked Bike comes equipped with the standard Shift Assist gearshift assistant, allowing for seamless upshifting and downshifting without the need for a clutch, enhancing the distinctive three-cylinder performance. Visually, the color-matched flyscreen and front spoiler add a unique touch to the already bold design of the Trident series models. Triumph's Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Stroud, stated, "Since its launch in 2020, the Trident has revitalized the competitive mid-size roadster segment, with over 35,000 units sold globally. The triple engine and blend of premium features at an accessible price point have attracted a new generation of riders to Triumph. Just as the iconic "Slippery Sam" racing bike inspired a whole era, we aim to captivate modern Triumph enthusiasts with the special edition's distinctive design, agility, and advanced technology package."

The design of the Trident Triple Tribute Edition, in white, blue, and red, pays homage to the iconic racing motorcycle "Slippery Sam", which holds the record for five consecutive TT victories on the Isle of Man from 1971 to 1975. The striking color scheme, complete with a matching flyscreen and front spoiler, sets it apart from the more understated Trident series models. The tank features the "Slippery Sam" number 67, encircling the classic Trident indentations and seamlessly flowing into the seat. Premium logo embossing on various components and an aluminum Trident badge with diamond-cut details add a touch of sophistication to the meticulously crafted design. Radiator grilles, fork protectors, handlebars, triple clamps, and heel guards in aluminum, along with lightweight black five-spoke cast wheels, further enhance the overall aesthetic.

Technisch gesehen bleibt alles beim Triple Tribute gleich, abgesehen von den Extras, was natürlich keine schlechte Sache ist. Die 81 PS des Triples sind bereits sehr leistungsstark in der Mittelklasse der Naked Bikes, und es mangelt auch nicht an elektronischen Funktionen, mit einstellbaren Modi, ABS und Traktionskontrolle.

The Triple Tribute Edition of the Trident 660 will be available from Triumph dealers starting in April 2024 at a price of 8245 euros plus delivery costs in Germany, 9295 euros in Austria, and 9295 francs in Switzerland.
