Podvozek a brzdy jsou také velmi dobré a pozice sedadla je sportovní a vzpřímená, což pokrývá široké spektrum od báječné zábavy až po dálkové cestování. Bohužel BMW dokonale rozumí i triku s příplatkovým seznamem. Základní model je dobře vybaven ABS, které lze deaktivovat, kontrolou trakce, kterou lze rovněž deaktivovat, a dvěma jízdními režimy, ale mnoho zajímavých vychytávek je téměř povinných - a samozřejmě zvyšují cenu.

BMW F 900 R nabízí snadnou ovladatelnost v zatáčkách, enormně vysokou stabilitu, aktivní a zároveň pohodlnou jízdní pozici a plynulý, ale zároveň neemotivní motor. Kdo má rád rychlou jízdu v zatáčkách, bude s ním spokojen. Možnosti konfigurace jsou téměř nekonečné, ale samozřejmě ne zadarmo.
