Krátký a zavalitý MT-10 je z proslulých výkonných naháčů vzhledově i podvozkově nejvzdálenější superbiku R1, ale srdce MT-10 přímo vychází ze závodní zbraně a fascinuje jedinečným syrovým zvukem a výkonem odspodu díky typickému posunu klikového čepu, který s upraveným pořadím střelby zajišťuje tento jedinečný charakter. Výsledných 160 koní se proto jen na papíře jeví ve srovnání s více než 200 koňmi modelu R1 jako poněkud slabých, ve skutečnosti však i MT-10 rozpoutá neuvěřitelný ohňostroj. Odpružení by bylo pro závodní okruh asi příliš měkké, ale pro souboj na venkovské silnici je tak akorát, a stejně tak brzdy - pro okruh asi jen přijatelné, ale na venkovskou silnici ideální.
Ducati Monster SP 2023
Verze SP je jednoznačně dražší, ale také jednoznačně lepší Ducati Monster. Vše do sebe dokonale zapadá, protože je typicky sportovní pro Ducati. Plně nastavitelné odpružení Öhlins (včetně vidlice ve švédském zlatě!) plní svůj účel dokonale, brzdový systém Brembo Stylema se drží vehementně, ale ne nepříjemně, a pozice sedadla s mírně větším náklonem dopředu je sportovní, ale přesto pohodlná. Dokonce i motor velmi dobře zapadá do koncepce velmi sportovního naháče střední třídy - chce být vytáčen a podává největší výkon na horní hranici. Pokud hledáte na Monsteru SP nějakou chybu, je to nejspíš cukání motoru V2 v nízkých otáčkách, ale pravé fanoušky motoru V2 90° to vůbec neurazí. Problémem není ani cena, protože za výkon verze SP si Italové nechávají zaplatit poměrně vysokou cenu.
