Živě tahá za poloměry a vyzařuje určitou nervozitu, kterou lze interpretovat jako divoký charakter. Výbava je téměř kompletní - ale jen téměř. Proč si musíte připlácet za quickshifter, když byl u předchůdce standardem? O to víc je nepříjemné, že řazení nahoru a dolů bez spojky funguje hladce jako po másle a že by se bez něj člověk nechtěl obejít.

Podle mého názoru KTM 1050 Adventure navazuje na model 990 Adventure, který před několika lety skončil: Výkon kolem 100 koní, hravé jízdní vlastnosti a tolik nebo tolik elektroniky, kolik je v současnosti nejmodernější. Motor je všechno, jen ne slabý, ABS a kontrola trakce regulují bezpečně a nenápadně a řízení je mimořádně zábavné, mimo jiné i díky relativně úzkým pneumatikám. A to vše za cenu, kterou v lize velkých cestovních endur podbízí jen několik málo konkurentů. Ač je to smutné, cena obou 1190 Adventures a především vlajkové lodi 1290 Super Adventure se vyšplhala do velmi vysokých hodnot. A právě proto je KTM 1050 Adventure možná nejsoudržnějším ze čtyř modelů Adventure.
